paris wednesday

Was busy as tourist and playing Mary Poppins yesterday, so just a bunch of fotos from our Paris Wednesday; commentary to follow..... now updated. :-D

I don't believe this is the same giant spider, but Big Jim and I saw a v. similar piece at the Tate Modern eight years ago; this giant arachnid is in the Tuileries Garden.

J. LOVED the water lilies, so much so that when it was time to leave, she declared, "More Monet's water lilies!"

I could have spent all afternoon in those two rooms....

In case you haven't heard, there's this big tower in Paris, quite famous I'm told.

This was amazing. I get hungry again just looking at the foto. Seriously. Monkfish with just olive oil, white wine, tomatoes, and smothered with fresh chervil, cilantro, and chives. Washed down with champagne, of course. When you visit Paris, you MUST go to this restaurant.
